Over the past 18 years I've worked with all kinds of children from ages 6 to 18, covering everything from dyslexia, dyscalculia, to attention difficulties and more. I've worked in International Schools and know the system well.
Individualised, made-to-measure tuition
I use educational psychology assessments, school reports and parental feedback to give me a clear picture of a child's strengths and weaknesses and to build a customised teaching programme for him/her. I also try and build the child's personal interests and hobbies into the programme.
Convenience
It's challenging being a parent in this busy world of ours! Fitting everything in - school, after school activities, sleep-overs - can be tough. Therefore, come to you - either at your home or, with permission, at your school - saving you yet another journey.
Teamwork
I involve the parents of my students very closely in what I do, passing on useful techniques to help their children and giving regular feedback. I also try to establish a close rapport with the child's teachers and any other special education professionals involved. It's real team effort!
